The fan mount, compatible with Gijs fanduct and other UM ducts, keeps the fan away from the heated Ultimaker alloy plate to prevent sagging and collisions during print jobs. Watch this video for guidance: http://www.flickr.com/photos/scottmayson/7785855698/in/photostream. In your UM setup, shorten the two inner screws in the Ply Bloks holding Dia 6mm linear rods. Assemble by screwing together Fan Holder and Fan Duct with plastic self-tapping screws, and secure with a Polyamide zip tie.
