These robust Ultimaker Feet by thingster are indeed well-crafted designs, neatly accommodating cables beneath them while allowing for easy screw installation to secure them firmly in place - which, of course, necessitates drilling into the side of the Ultimaker. However, I wanted a better hold on the table top; therefore, I installed four additional posts underneath to support small rubber feet (readily available at Home Depot or similar stores). These modest rubber feet lift the Ultimaker Original 3.5 cm off the surface when in place - roughly equivalent to 1-3/8 inches. I printed these using advanced high-quality settings to grant them optimal strength, reasoning that as essential supports for my printer they should be robust; although probably overdoing it slightly, it is accomplished nonetheless. The generic rubber feet used are the type available for general use on countertops and shelves to prevent items from moving around. They measure 13mm in width and fit snugly into the designated grooves. If initially uncertain whether or not a rubber foot fits, reassurance can be found by pressing one side of it firmly against the inner rim of one of the posts, gradually guiding it around until it meets and possibly protrudes at one point. At this juncture, carefully press in the protruding edge before pressing down the entire foot - ensuring an incredibly precise fit that seems tailor-made for the purpose!
