Top Enclosure Riser To print ABS better on my Ultimaker 2+ a top enclosure is needed to keep the heat in. There are several variations that mimic the Ultimaker aesthetic, I used the one from Aliexpress: UltiTop for Ultimaker Perfect fitting Ultimaker 2 cover Extended Frame Top Cover With the enclosure in-place, the top cables and filament tube slightly touch the inside roof. This "Thing" is primarily intended to raise the top about 1 inch to add more clearance. As an additional benefit it gives me a space to add any 3d printed add-on and tools without drilling into the original ultimaker or top enclosure. I also added a mount for a Logitech C270 USB webcam with a 4x wide angle lens for use with an OctoPi 5" Touch Screen Enclosure. The camera does not interfere with the tool head and is adjustable in orientation. Here is a 3Dprinter Tools Caddy that I attached to one side.
