Ultimaker enclosure
thingiverse
Created a protective cover for my Ultimaker2 using plexiglass, designed to maintain a stable temperature and keep dust out. The door is already in place. To replicate the build, you'll need 5 corner parts and 6 side parts. You will require M3x10mm screws with a diameter of 3mm (three of them). The enclosure was constructed using 5mm plexiglass. Corner Brace.stl contains one corner piece that requires three screws. Side Brace.stl includes one side section that needs two screws. Connection.stl features both a corner and a side component. Since I don't have access to a lasercutter or CNC machine, I resorted to using a handsaw to cut the plexiglass. Afterward, I used files to smooth out the edges before applying copper polish to give them a shiny finish. I'd love to see your printed versions of this design.
