Ultimaker E3Dv5 mount with Tilt z-probe

thingiverse

This is my version for an Ultimaker E3D mount. It features a retractable z-probe that works together with a special part attached to the construction platform chassis. There is some Marlin code required to make it work, and I've included it here. Additional parts needed include 4x LM6UU linear bearings, 2x M3 x 25 screws, 1x M3 x 10 screw, 3x M3 nuts, 4x M3 washers, 1x microswitch with a 6.60mm gap between holes, and may fit larger ones by drilling where needed, 2x M2 x 15 screws for the microswitch, 1x 3mm x 32mm steel or iron rod, and 3x neodimium magnets with a cylindrical radius of 4mm x 2mm. Two 30mm fans are also required along with their screws, although bigger fans may fit with an included adapter. The design includes remixes from other parts taken from various sources. Although reworked from scratch, it's mainly based on the design of am001; if you can identify any other influences, please let me know and I'll be happy to add credits as needed. Marlin full support is provided via this repository: https://github.com/stratop80/Marlin. Recent months' RCs are also available upon request at no charge. Check the fit of fan screws before assembling; they are intended for M3, but I've used whatever screw suits my fans, which don't seem identical. Verify the orientation of magnets before gluing them inside their pockets, ensuring a clean snap together in either the retracted or deployed position of the z-probe. You can route wiring (thermistor, heater, fans, and switch) through the tube and secure it with belts, using a cable sleeve for a neat finish. Depending on the final position of the "espera.stl" part fixed to your chassis, fine adjustments must be made in the configuration.h file in Marlin to make it work; simply look for comments marked as "TILT" to determine where to tweak.
