The Ultimaker Rocket utilizes a 12g CO2 cartridge, readily available at stores with sporting goods sections for approximately 0.50 cents each in bulk packages of 40. The cartridge easily slides into the rocket body due to minimal friction. To launch, insert a small screw or nail into the cap and attach it to one end of a 4-foot PVC pipe. Position the pipe horizontally on the ground with the tip pointing upwards, then drop the rocket assembly inside. Upon impact, the nail will puncture the CO2 cylinder, propelling your rocket skyward.
