Fix a popped-out bowden cable on your Ultimaker with this clamp solution. Drill two holes to secure it in place, preventing future damage to wood teeth. This clamp is printable in a reasonable time, featuring round edges for safety and internal structure. It makes maneuvering the gear more difficult by hand or with fingers, thus reducing the risk of injury. An alternative version is available from Roman Jurt. If filament is stuck, disassemble the MFM and temporarily reassemble it rotated 30 degrees. Use high fill rate (40% and above) for printing; note that the initial version may push down an inner part of the bowden holder, but this issue has been fixed in v2. Ensure the oval part is correctly oriented to slide in and self-clamp the tube. For best results, use skeinforge with comb and jitter settings during printing.
