Ultimaker axis alignment tool (8mm and 6mm axis)

This is a tool designed to align the axis on an Ultimaker Original / Original+ / Ultimaker 2. Frustrated with the lack of effective online tools, I decided to create one myself. The few available options fell short because they didn't account for the need to reach the allen wrench hole, which requires a distance between the axis of around 40mm to 120mm. The tool provides a smooth turn of approximately 79 degrees from one position to the next, resulting in a 41-degree shift to each side. Achieving a good alignment is key; it's essential to be able to reach both pulleys on the same belt at once. If you encounter difficulties getting the pulleys into place, consult this YouTube video for guidance. Use this advice with caution! I created this tool after refurbishing two Ultimaker 2+ printers from the RSG Lingecollege and developing an additional tool for snapping the axis into place. Originally designed for the Untimaker Original, it also worked well on a serviced Ultimaker 2 that was still in good condition. When placing the axis, ensure it will trigger the end switch to avoid any issues. Print settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 60% Notes: I used a linear fill pattern. Post-printing advice: print this tool using PLA, as it provides a smooth click-and-slide motion to the snuggie position. HIPS or ABS could also work, but their properties make PLA a more suitable choice for an alignment tool like this. I designed this tool because I needed to service a borrowed printer and couldn't find a suitable online resource. The fact that over 3.3 billion internet users exist, some of whom have an Ultimaker printer, suggests that there's room for improvement in the available tools.
