You might wonder: "why so many pieces?" I thought that too. My original plan was simple, but it required cutting into the corners of plexiglass to level them with the printer's top side when using just the corners. That cover, however, was shorter, only going until the back of the printer, and all the hot air escaped. So, I upgraded it - or at least, that's what I like to call it. Now, I can cut straight plexiglass parts without any additional modifications. I can glue all the guides together and remove the cover in one piece. Building this project was a lot of fun, and I'm happy with how it turned out, so I decided to share it with you. Hopefully, you'll like it! One thing to keep in mind: it consumes a tremendous amount of filament. Designed for 4mm thick plexiglass I tried to label the files as clearly as possible; the number of pieces needed is indicated in parentheses. For example, "(6)" means six pieces - three normal and three mirrored. Don't forget to mirror the parts before printing. The Autodesk 123D design file is included!
