Magnetic Door Latch for Customized Doors This innovative door latch is designed to work seamlessly with a specific door model available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2615653. To assemble and use this latch, you'll need the following components: 1. A 14x5mm magnet 2. Two M3-0.5x10 screws First, print out the part and attach the magnet. Experiment with its position until you find the perfect spot where the magnetic force complements your door's closing mechanism. This latch is particularly suitable for a 5mm acrylic panel. In my setup, it works optimally about 50mm from the top of the panel. This positioning aligns nicely with one of the printer head rods, ensuring a smooth and reliable operation.
