Ultimaker 2 Titan Aero Mounting Bracket

Ultimaker 2 Titan Aero Mounting Bracket

This is a custom mount I've designed to pair a Titan Aero and pancake stepper directly with my UM2 (Ultimaker 2) clone, allowing for direct drive extrusion. It utilizes two LM6LUU bearings spaced at stock UM2 rod intervals. This setup should seamlessly replace the standard carriage style without requiring any adjustments. However, it does reduce the print volume slightly, and I'm unsure of the exact difference compared to the original setup. Currently, I'm using a blower fan (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2240359) but it severely restricts the X-axis movement, so I'll be creating a new design with an angled blower fan that allows for greater X-axis mobility within the frame's limits. My installed version is printed solid in PETG material from eSUN. Please excuse the low-quality images, as they were taken while printing parts for my new CoreXY prototype, which I'm currently designing.
