This support arm is designed for mounting the Raspberry Pi official 7in Touchscreen Display on the side of an Ultimaker 2, 2+ or 2+ Extended. The arm enables easy access and operation by positioning the Pi running Octoprint with its display as a control panel on the CNC machine's side. The arm features holes for routing USB and power cables with ease. It also allows vertical swiveling of the entire display to adjust the viewing angle to suit your needs. To use this support arm, you must mount the Pi and its display in the case designed by luc_e at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1585924. Additionally, replace the back cover with one from registeredthing's design at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2846471. For best results, print this support arm using ABS material, as it allows for some flexibility when fitting the arm to your printer. PLA is too brittle and may crack or break during installation. To secure the Pi and its display in their case to the arm, use a long 3 or 4mm bolt and hex nut.
