Ultimaker 2 Replacement Knob

A sleek new knob for the Ultimaker 2 that offers improved grip. This innovative knob is based on the original design of the Ultimaker 2 Knob. To enhance its performance, I reworked the fillets and reduced the diameter slightly, addressing a common issue where the original design turned out to be too strong for some users, including myself with my Ultimaker 2. Instructions: Printed using "Innofil Ice Blue" transparent filament for a unique visual effect. To achieve a solid infill and concentric layers that amplify the glow effect, I employed Simplify3D for slicing. Other settings were carefully adjusted to prevent infill within the part itself. For removal, simply use a small screwdriver to access the tiny hole on the inner edge of the knob's surrounding ring, as seen in the accompanying image. Gently push and turn the knob 180 degrees to avoid jamming until it comes out successfully.
