1.75mm dual extrusion conversion features 3D Solec hot ends and Race nozzles. Printed in Polycarbonate, which holds threads nicely with reasonable torque applied. Threads created in Nut Job open Scad project are oversized by .3mm for easy fit. A more accurate version will be uploaded soon, but Polycarbonate needs to be reamed with thread taps due to its excessive strength, making it difficult to size accurately using a hot bolt. You can find the design online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9b04pOAUFxz-um2-print-head-top-m83-thread/editv2. Additionally, the hole size was reduced slightly to minimize racking on the print head. This modification should improve dual extrusion prints. Printed at .1mm layer height with a .6mm nozzle, it produces great results, reducing racking significantly compared to standard ABS print heads due to slightly undersized holes.
