Ultimaker 2 Platform mount for GoPro
youmagine
Simple mount for GoPro Housing to film time lapse footage. Allows users to install it anywhere along the front of the lower platform with ease. The entire assembly remains lightweight thanks to a minimalist 3D printed GoPro frame that prints in a single piece without any clearance issues with the bottom of an Ultimaker2's front frame or potential camera contact, provided it is installed correctly. To raise the platform, simply select the "Raise Platform" setting and install it on the bottom platform, not the heated bed. Ensure the mount is pushed all the way onto the platform so everything clears correctly. The recess on the bottom of the mount should line up with the front panel on the Ultimaker 2 to prevent terrible noises or broken bits when the bed lowers. Test the full motion before placing your GoPro in the mount for a reference point. Please don't risk setting your house on fire, as I'm not an engineer. Designed using Tinkercad and repaired in Netfabb with STL files. Printed at .1 layer height, .08 shell, 20% infill, and 25% support throughout.
