I made changes to the original design without cutting or damaging the acrylic by using glue and magnets instead. To make this work, I chose 2mm acrylic which is less expensive, and this led me to adjust some of the parts slightly. I used: • 6 - 3mm x 20mm hex screws (socket cap) • 4 - 8mm x 1.5mm neodymium magnets (available on ebay) • 1 - 311mm x 385mm x 2mm acrylic sheet, which can be as narrow as 300mm and will work fine, with height depending on whether it's extended or not • Epoxy, though superglue and weld-on #4 would also work if the hinges are printed in PLA My acrylic was laser cut, so I could ensure exact dimensions. I've made a few ABS prints at high heat and everything stays together just fine. My hinges were printed in PLA. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: I recommend printing the handle with magnet holes facing out and the handle side down. This leaves just a slight overhang where it's glued to the door, but my UM2 handled that easily.
