Ultimaker 2 foot with rubber foot
thingiverse
I was eager to boost my upgraded Ultimaker 2 go's cooling efficiency. The controller becomes scorching hot due to the blazing hotbed and the door, which is a major issue. I salvaged some rubber feet from an Adam Hall project, so I crafted the foot around them to enhance their functionality. A 38x25 rubber foot effectively dampens the printer sounds that tend to resonate through the table plate. To secure the rubber foot to the holder, you'll need M6 20mm screws; a nut is not strictly necessary, but I've included space for one in the design. If you do decide to use a nut, the screw must be at least 25mm long.
