Ultimaker 2 Filament Guide Final (with cleaner/oiler)

Filament Guide for Ultimaker 2 - Final Version This guide is a crucial tool when the spool is rotated by 90 degrees behind the printer. The 90-degree rotation can be extremely helpful in forcing filament ripples from the extruder to the side of the bowden and PTFE coupler. This modification proved to be incredibly effective in eliminating underextrusions, as the high friction caused by the ripples inside the PTFE coupler was greatly reduced. You will need: * M3x14 screws with a washer to securely attach the base to the UM2 below the extruder, replacing an original screw from the left motor cover. * A M5x20 screw with a nut to firmly fix the arm at the base plate. * A 606 ball bearing to keep the wheel smoothly moving. Assembly: * Press the ballbearing into the wheel and click it securely onto the arm. * Fix the arm to the base plate using the M5 screw at your desired angle. * Remove the original motor cover screw from your UM2 and attach the FilaGuide with the new screw and washer instead. * Fill the cleaner/oiler block with your preferred cleaning or oiling material, then push the filament through the holes. Update: The V5 of the Base has been redesigned to minimize friction and make filament exchange significantly easier when no cleaner/oiler is used.
