The top cover comes from JUSS10, available on youmagine.com/juss10/designs and youmagine.com/designs/acrylic-cover-for-ultimaker-2. The parts fit together snugly, but I noticed some cracking of the acrylic as I tightened down the screw. If I had to redo it, I would taper the tabs slightly and use longer screws to add more material between the nuts and the screw; see the modified DWG file for details. The door is from Ross Clasen, located on youmagine.com/rossclasen/designs and youmagine.com/designs/um2-friction-mounted-removable-door-hinge-and-latch-set. I only used the door panel without the hinge. If I were to do it again, I would add a radius to the corners; take a look at the modified DWG file for further information. The bottom clips for the door come from Mtanu, accessible on youmagine.com/mtanu/designs and youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-cover. I modeled the side clips for the door myself. The door slides upwards to remove it; you might want to consider adding a handle to make it easier to lift up. Alternatively, you could try making the door slightly taller and then applying a bend at the top. Warning: this project ended up costing me about $80 in acrylic; I used our local Fab-Lab to laser cut the parts.
