Ultimaker 2 - Dial Indicator Rail Mount for Starrett No. 81-141 Dial Indicator
thingiverse
This is a remix of the rail mount dial indicator to fit a Starrett No. 81-141 Dial Indicator. 1. Print the part face up, with no supports needed, 15% infill will get the job done. 2. Remove the aluminum back from the indicator and then reattach it to the new mount you just printed using the screws. To level the bed, I use the Octoprint interface to raise the Z-Axis until it touches a point, then jog the print head using the X-Y controls. Trying to level with the power off results in the table jumping downward constantly. Also, I made modifications to the .STEP file in Onshape, a new web-based CAD tool that I really liked; here is a link to the part on Onshape if you need to make any changes: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/cea1a37b20d6daad9b8b4bd7/w/4473fa41b5680dde87d2c74f/e/76eaac408c6e23ad0f83b880
