Ultimaker 2 Cover
thingiverse
I created a simple printer cover to prevent curling corners in my workshop. This cover hangs in front of my printer to block drafts and moves aside when I need access to the print bed. It is cut from 1.5mm acrylic, though it should also work with 3mm acrylic. To assemble it, I printed three pegs with solid infill and attached them to the acrylic using thread-forming screws (McMaster Part #96817A908). The lower peg fits into a slot that can be adjusted until it works perfectly for my printer. **UPDATE**: I recently changed the design based on Chompworks' suggestion. The hole for the lower peg is now a fastener, allowing me to fine-tune the cover's fit for my specific machine.
