Ultimaker 2 Chimera Aqua w/ Berd Air

Ultimaker 2 head designed specifically for E3D Chimera Aqua water-cooled hotend, paired with BLTouch and Berd Air part cooling mount. This custom-designed head was created from the ground up for a Chinese clone of the Ultimaker 2 Extended. The original printer features a closed heated chamber ideal for printing tall ABS objects, but its stock head suffers from a weak 25mm fan that struggles to keep it cool in high-temperature environments. Moreover, the part cooling fans blow hot air directly onto the printed parts, often compromising their cooling efficiency. That's where water cooling comes in. This specially designed head maintains the original Ultimaker 2 dimensions (35x35mm), ensuring no loss of build space on the XY axis. Although Z build space was reduced by about 10mm, the improved design still offers enhanced printing capabilities. The head also features mounts for 4mm Berd Air pipes to significantly improve part cooling performance within the heated chamber. The BLTouch offset is precisely set at X10mm and Y26mm from the nozzle, while the distance between 6mm rods remains consistent with the original Ultimaker 2 at 18mm. Comments are welcome.
