The Ultimaker 2 is a 3D printer featuring up to 20 micron layer resolution, a build volume of 23 x 22.5 x 20.5 cm, and position precision of X Y Z 12.5 / 12.5 / 5 micron. It has a print speed range of 30 mm/s to 300 mm/s and travel speed of 30 mm/s to 350 mm/s, with recommended filament diameter of 2.85 mm and nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm. The printer supports stand-alone SD card printing and uses Cura - Official Ultimaker software. It employs fused filament fabrication (FFF) print technology and has AC input of 100 - 240 V / ~4 Amps with a max power output of 221 watts. The power requirements are 24 V DC @ 9.2 Amps, with an estimated usage cost of around €0.05 per cubic centimeter for material and power.
