I crafted this using PLA, but ABS Filament can also work. A .5mm nozzle and a 0.4mm layer height were employed, along with no supports. The parts fit well on an 8.5in x 8.5in build platform; however, an 8.2x8.2 square platform bed requires reducing Slic3r skirt to 1mm and positioning the part off-center at a 45-degree angle. This design consists of four parts held together by binder clips. The cover remains on during printing and can be installed without removing the spool from its support arms and threaded rod. Desicant bags are included to minimize moisture, while foam plugs are used to seal the opening when not in use; however, this assembly is not entirely airtight.
