Ultibots Kossel V-slot magball roller carriage with tension adju
pinshape
This is an adjustable magball carriage with variable spacing (42mm) based on the experimental Ultibots design for the D300VS by Brad Norman found at https://github.com/UltiBots/D300VS/blob/master/Experimental/d300_carriage_v2.stl The remix allows reuse of original hardware with a single additional screw/bolt and nut, while expanding tensioning range. A reinforcement is added to the bottom belt clamp for easier pre-tensioning with needle-nose pliers before final adjustment. I am considering minor tweaks to the clamping area but they will not alter the model significantly. Printer: D300VS Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 20% Triangles Notes: I printed in PLA, which works fine, but lighter/flexier materials like ABS, PETG, or Nylon would have been better choices.
