UltiBots + E3D Titan Aero (magball version)
thingiverse
This mounts an E3D Titan Aero onto an Ultibots D300VS. It may also work on a K250VS with a small stepper motor. The spacer is designed for small steppers with short shafts that cannot use the standard E3D spacer. Simply jam it into the heatsink hole. When printing with ABS, slow down and turn on the parts cooling fan to achieve smooth results. The fan mount requires two M3x25 screws and nuts. The magnetic ball arms may interfere with sensors in some fans. If your fan fails to start spinning, rotate the offending arm around. Print Settings Supports: Yes Notes: This model offers a lot of support. Easy to use; default settings work well. Ensure you have sufficient z-hop or lay a raft if your support gets knocked over during printing. Post-Printing The stepper mount should be lightly sanded on both sides for a smooth mating. The screw holes are intentionally snug to achieve better alignment. Make sure you're tightening the stepper screws fully and not just gripping the printed part.
