My state-of-the-art quadcopter design showcases cutting-edge features that make it a standout among its peers. The quadcopter boasts: two-axis gimbal technology, an all-in-one clean design, ease of printing, extended flight times, and the capability to utilize props up to 15 inches in diameter. Additionally, the quadcopter is equipped with a robust motor mount measuring 25X25 mm, perfect for accommodating larger motors. Setup involves: * Motors: high-performance MN4010 580KV units * Props: 15X5-inch props deliver exceptional stability and control * ESCs: powerful 40-amp units ensure smooth power delivery * Flight controllers: HKpilot mega 2.7 with telemetry capabilities provide real-time data * Batteries: a high-capacity 4S 10000Mah battery provides approximately 25 minutes of flight time The gimbal controller is seamlessly integrated, featuring a two-axis gimbal controller that works in harmony with the gimbal motors. These high-torque 2206-140 kv motors provide exceptional stability and control. Radio transmission and reception are handled by: * Video TX: a high-power 2G4 500Mw unit ensures clear video feed * Video RX: a robust 2G4 13CH receiver provides reliable signal reception * Radio TX: an Ezuhf 8CH transmitter with diversity capabilities ensures seamless communication * Radio RX: an Ezuhf JR receiver, perfectly suited for use with the Taranis Sky system Recent updates to the design include: * August 30, 2015: The gimbal was redesigned to be 15 mm lower, resulting in a smaller frame and reduced printing time. An angled camera mount was added to enhance forward-facing views during flight. * August 21, 2015: A new FPV camera and transmitter mount were incorporated into the design. * August 18, 2015: The gimbal arm was redesigned with a thicker profile for improved printability, featuring a flat bottom for stability. A hole was also added to the top part of the frame for power wire management. * August 17, 2015: The landing gear was reinforced with additional material for increased strength. More mounting holes were drilled into the gimbal controller and flight controller for enhanced security. * August 16, 2015: The motor mount was simplified from eight parts to two, reducing failure points and improving overall stability. A new battery storage system is being developed to enhance aesthetics while maintaining functionality. * August 14, 2015: A revised gimbal design was integrated into the frame, extending it slightly to accommodate the new design. The gimbal was refined for improved performance. * August 12, 2015: An all-new gimbal design featuring enhanced damping and integration with the frame was implemented. * August 9, 2015: A simple landing gear system was added to the quadcopter.
