We received a state-of-the-art 2.0 lens upgrade for our ULS X660 laser cutter at MakeHaven in New Haven, CT. This advanced focus tool is specifically designed for 2" focal length applications. Scale Adjustment: Scale adjustments were made accordingly to ensure precise calibration. Print Settings Optimization: Our optimal print settings include: MakerBot as the Printer Brand. Details: Printer specifics reveal a robust system featuring the MakerBot Replicator 2 printer model. Additional Customizations: The option for rafts is available but proved unnecessary in this instance. However, our configuration did not require supports as the shape's complexity does not necessitate their use. Print Quality Enhancements: Resolution settings were set to Standard mode, providing sufficient detail without compromising efficiency. Internal Structure Configuration: We employed a 30% infill rate for the printed structure. Printing Observations: Further experimenting with multiple shell configurations did yield some promising results, although we hypothesize that significant improvements in print quality may not be substantially realized due to the model's relative simplicity.
