prusaprinters
This is a cupholder specifically designed for the inclined tables in lecture halls H1, H2 and H3 of Ulm University. It is meant to be clipped onto the pencil tray, but has proven to work in various other variations as well, such as “standing” inside the pencil tray or propped on the top railing of the table. Since the dimensions of the pencil tray seem to vary significantly even from one seat to the next, it might be necessary to experiment with those configurations. Refer to pictures for ideas. The cupholder has open sides to allow for various diameters of bottles & cups and for easier printing. However, you should of course always make sure the cupholder and the beverage on top are stable before using this cupholder, especially with hot beverages! The pen tray was added as a bonus and to make up for lost space in the pencil tray of the desk. It has a diameter of 1cm and should fit most styli and should fit relatively thin ballpoint pens as well. Print Settings:Nozzle diameter 0.4mm - 0.6mmNo supports in optimal orientation (pen holder vertical)0.2mm layer height recommended(Outer) Brim absolutely necessary to prevent warping!Happy printing! This cupholder was designed for the Fachschaft Physik and will be available to purchase shortly. You are also free to print it for yourself, see license for details.
