In this design, topology optimization (as seen in Pictures 4 & 5) was utilized, preserving Datum B's entire supporting platform. The original bolt hole depth was maintained to ensure compatibility with the existing bolt. Cura and Slic3r were employed to identify the optimal printing orientation along the y-axis from the bracket's backside. This would require approximately 4.38 meters of material. The model's maximum stress is within 4500 psi, representing a 91.35% mass reduction compared to the original design. All walls have a minimum thickness of 0.04 inches. However, there is one issue: the required hole edge distance was not adhered to. The mass amounts to 0.08409 pounds, with a volume of 1.73710 cubic inches, and a maximum stress of 3335 psi.
