I caught people using these on YouTube, and decided I would give one a try. The concept is that the shaker adds a smooth rhythm element to strumming, and it works perfectly fine. Just fill the chamber with some rice and seal it with the stopper, then you have your own shakey shaker! Hook it over a finger, and after a few moments' practice you'll develop a cool rhythm to complement your playing.
