Ukulele Music Lyre
thingiverse
This is a portable music stand designed specifically for use while standing with a ukulele. To help me remember entire songs, I print out the lyrics and chords on cardstock or index cards. The clip should fit snugly onto an 11mm thick headstock, which is consistent across all three of my ukuleles from different manufacturers. The system consists of four main components: 1. The clip attaches to the end of the headstock between the tuning machines. 2. A post inserts into the top of the clip and the base of the lyre. 3. The lyre fits into the post at a 45-degree angle, ideal for right-handed players. 4. A small paperclip is glued to the front of the lyre to hold the sheet music in place. I haven't yet tested the system's tolerances, but I plan to do so soon and update this design if necessary adjustments are required.
