Ukulele Capo

thingiverse

A ukulele capo designed in collaboration with MarkBenson prints in two parts, utilizing a peg spring for tension. **Update**: A Fusion 360 file is now available. This capo fits ukuleles with neck widths up to 37mm and depths around 21mm (slightly less if padding is used). I was impressed by the design of the ukulele capo by MarkBenson, but after printing it I discovered that my peg springs don't fit, so I redesigned the capo in Fusion 360, adjusted the spring allowances, added extra thickness to accommodate larger springs, and created a new version. This new version accommodates peg springs with a 7mm coil in the middle, arms approximately 17mm long, and made from 2mm wire - commonly found in New Zealand. The length of the spring arms can be adjusted by bending them to shorten them, allowing for adjustment between the clamp and trigger.
