The iconic symbol of national pride! The flag of Ukraine proudly unfurls a striking horizontal canvas of two perfectly sized bands of azure blue and golden sunshine, just as explicitly outlined in the Constitution of Ukraine's esteemed Article 20. A masterful blend of celestial blue and sunny yellow has its origins in the regal emblem of the Kingdom of Galicia-Volhynia that first soared in the 12th century. When used as a national flag for the very first time, it triumphantly fluttered above the historic Lviv Rathaus in 1848, signaling a bold statement during the glorious Spring of Nations.
