Solidarity with Ukraine started many kinds of fashion accessories, pins and badges. Here's the one that stands out and is inspired by true events! Many videos showed Ukrainian farmers using their tractors to tow abandoned Russian tanks, transporters and other military equipment. This badge is inspired by the very first video of a blue tractor towing armored transporter in which you can hear people laugh about snatching it.

Printing Instructions:

FDM Printers:

Option 1: Print flat on the bed with ironing enabled to get rid of nasty Z layer. Tends to show less details

Option 2: Angle a bit (about 20 or more degrees) and print on supports. As X layer is better for details, this setting will help you to show them. Just avoid supporting detailed parts of the model and rather stick with supports from the back side where you can easily remove them.

(optional) When printing flat, use different colors of filaments for badge and the detailed model. You can use g-code pause on the last layer of the badge before continuing with the model. (If you don't plan to paint it)

Resin Printers:

Use angle that works best with your machine to avoid pixel lines and use supports from the bottom and back.

Angle it in a way so you don't have to support model details as it simplifies postprocessing for you.

Consider using more durable resins (tough, ABS like or semi-flexible) as it is easy to damage brittle resins when wearing as accessory

Wearing

There are shallow holes on the back side where you can glue pins. I've used common ones that are typical for badges and you can get them in stores selling fabrics and sewing equipment.

You can also use safety pin

Use superglue or hot glue gun to attach your preferred pin

There's also version with 2 holes if you prefer to sew it onto something or attach in any other way

Version with 1 larger hole can be used as keychain or similar tag

Consider the hole size when resizing the model. Easy to make them in your slicer or program of choice

Also had a good experience with gluing magnets and having the badge on a fridge

Optional Painting

For painting, use your favorite primer and colors. Light color primer delivers brighter results.

I haven't tried airbrush due to measurements but works fine with small brushes. I've used Vallejo paints and Washes but choice is yours.

Black wash after painting tends to nicely highlight the model, contours and details

The bottom dirt line is dry-brushed pigment

Use varnish as the last step to protect the paint and give it more glossy look

Thanks for downloading! Have a great printing and wearing time!
