I required a bespoke, UK-standard 32mm threaded plumbing adapter to connect a US-style schedule 40 P trap. In a typical maker's DIY spirit, I fabricated one from scratch using 3D printing technology. The resulting adapter features a precise fit between the UK standard 32mm / 1-1/4 BSP female thread and the USA standard 1-1/4 male thread. To ensure a secure seal, I strategically placed a small O-ring within the threaded section of the adapter. I used a high-quality 3D printing process to create the adapter's complex geometry, which provides a precise fit between the two threads.
