UK Light Switch Cover

I adore my Hue light bulbs, but I despise it when they get turned off by a simple switch and I'm unable to control them remotely. The good news is that there are many methods for disabling US style light switches, although finding solutions that work in our UK environment has proven to be quite a challenge... To combat this issue, I designed a small module to interface with a standard single-gang UK light switch, which should function correctly with most single and twin switches. I incorporated some holes in the front so that users can use thin sticks or probes to operate the switches if needed - the holes were sized to accommodate the plastic sticks used for cotton swabs. Printer Settings Brand: RepRap Printer: P3Steel Rafts: No Raft Needed Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: I printed this part twice and it worked perfectly both times, depending on the preference of my printer settings. The best approach is to print the module lying down with support material under the raised area, as this allows for easy access during assembly. If you prefer a more upright print, I recommend using a brim attachment to ensure the module doesn't shift around while printing or loosen later. I chose to print mine in silver PLA filament but other types should work just as well!
