Textures can be found within the .skp file. Follow these steps to extract them: 1. Use Sketchup (free): Export an image under File/Export/2d Graphic - select your desired 2D file format. Another way: File -> Export -> 3D Model. Choose COLLADA File (*.dae). Ensure that 'Export Texture Maps' is checked. Locate the exported folder, and within it you'll find a folder with all texture files. 2. Importing .skp into C4D will automatically generate a textures folder next to the .skp file. 3ds Max stores texture files in ..\3dsMaxSceneAssetsImages after importing the .skp file.
