The Euro Coin Holder is an adapted version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1374186, originally designed for storing USA quarters. As a resident of the USA, I don't frequently use Euro coins. However, during my business trips and vacations abroad, I've accumulated a few and decided to keep them. Rather than letting them collect dust in a drawer, it's convenient to have them easily accessible for my next trip. I browsed various coin holders on Thingiverse and sought out something compact that could hold different denominations up to 2 Euro coins securely. The design I liked best was actually intended for quarters, featuring a screw-on lid and transparent side panels so the coins can be seen. Its design reminded me of classic film canisters used for 35mm film, which were ideal for storing small items. The original design required only minor modifications to accommodate my needs: it needed to be shorter since I only have a few coins, and its diameter had to be increased to at least 26mm ID. To achieve this, I simply scaled the part in both x and y directions, while also editing the file to remove approximately one-third of the original height from the z axis. The final result was pleasing, but unfortunately, I didn't have more coins to print multiple holders.
