https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rFzb08dOzA A spinning, levitating UFO for your desk at home or office comes in two models: the UFO and the Base. These designs are centered around a round magnet with a central hole found at Home Depot (picture attached). After printing the UFO parts, insert the round magnet into the bottom (metal side facing up) then super glue the pieces together. The magnet will shift slightly to accommodate the guide wire. Following this, print the base parts and slide them together to form the UFO holder. Align the thicker part of the C-shaped piece with the hole in the round part. Insert the guide wire from below through the hole. Place a second round magnet into the opening on the base (metal side facing down) with a small amount of super glue to secure it. Test the assembly before gluing, as the magnet in the UFO will hold it in place. A solid 12-gauge wire was used for the guide wire of the UFO. The hole in both the UFO and the base are 4 mm, allowing any solid material to be used for the guide. The guide wire should measure 98.75 mm (3.85 inches) or can be inserted from below and trimmed to fit. Upon completion, the UFO should float above the base and spin freely.
