The dirty section of the UF5X0 quadcopter airframe's sidewall protects vital internal components such as ESCs from damage. This protective feature stands at an impressive 15mm tall to accommodate powerful 40A ESCs used in the design. To address concerns about the structural integrity of the 3D printed part, I've incorporated four strategically placed holes for inserting robust aluminum alloy cylinders that provide added support and stability. These modifications enable the airframe to handle the rigors of flight with confidence. This design was created using a combination of LibreCAD and FreeCAD software, allowing for precision and accuracy in every detail.
