The Renault UE Chenillette was a light tracked armored carrier and prime mover produced by France between 1932 and 1940. The French Infantry made the decision to develop a light armored vehicle capable of towing and supplying small cannons and mortars in 1930. In 1931, the Renault company was awarded the contract for production of its Renault UE, combined with the Renault UK trailer. By 1937, the Renault UE2 had been chosen as an improved type for large-scale production from a number of competitors. A total of over five thousand vehicles were built, including license production in Romania, and they became standard equipment for all French infantry divisions. Most Renault UE vehicles in French service remained unarmed; however, those captured by Germany in 1940 were used for various purposes, including being armed with machine-guns, antitank-guns, and rocket artillery. The 3D model was created using 3ds max 2016 software and rendered using Vray. To generate your image, simply press the rendering button.
