The Renault UE Chenillette was a light tracked armoured carrier and prime mover produced by France between 1932 and 1940. The French Infantry decided in 1930 to develop a light armoured vehicle capable of towing and supplying small cannons and mortars. In 1931, the Renault company received the contract for production of its Renault UE, combined with the Renault UK trailer. In 1937, from among several competitors, the Renault UE2 was chosen as an improved type for large-scale production. A total of over five thousand were built, including license production in Romania, and they formed part of the standard equipment of all French infantry divisions. Most Renault UE vehicles in French service remained unarmed; those captured by Germany in 1940 were used for various purposes, including being equipped with machine-guns, antitank-guns, and rocket artillery. The 3D model was created using 3ds max 2016 and rendered with mental ray. To generate an image, simply press the rendering button. A version of this model is available in three formats: native file for 3ds max 2016 with mental ray 3.13, FBX and OBJ presets from 3ds max 2016, all of which preserve the material settings. The texture maps used are PNG files with resolutions of 4096 x 4096, 2048 x 2048, and 1024 x 1024, located in the 3ds max folder. The model features layers and groups for easy management and part selection. A polygonal n-gone was employed on the model's design. Note: The background image is not included with this product.
