The Renault UE Chenillette was a light tracked armored carrier and prime mover produced by France from 1932 to 1940. The French Infantry developed a light armored vehicle in 1930 to tow and supply small cannons and mortars. In 1931, the Renault company won the contract for production of its Renault UE, paired with the Renault UK trailer. By 1937, the Renault UE2 had been chosen as an improved type for large-scale production from among competitors. More than five thousand units were built, including license production in Romania, and they formed part of standard equipment for all French infantry divisions. Most Renault UE vehicles in French service remained unarmed; those captured by Germany in 1940 were used for various purposes, including being equipped with machine-guns, antitank-guns, and rocket artillery. The 3D model is created using 3ds Max 2016 software and rendered using Mental Ray. To generate an image, simply press the Render button. The model comes with two versions: one for Mental Ray 3.13 and 3ds Max 2016 (native file), and another exported in FBX and OBJ preset from 3ds Max 2016, complete with materials. PNG textures are provided for diffuse and specular maps on Arch & Design material, available in resolutions of 4096 x 4096, 2048 x 2048, and 1024 x 1024. These textures can be found in the 3ds Max folder. The model features layers and groups for easy management of its components. Polygonal Ngon is used on the model.
