UE Boom hanging stand / clip system
thingiverse
This is a clip system I designed for the UE Boom Bluetooth speaker. The Boom already has method for hanging but it doesn't always orient the optimal way. Simply print the clips and superglue them to anything you want to clip the speaker to. Usually another 3D printed mount. I suggest modifying either of my custom mounts or designing your own depending on the application. 3 important notes: 1 - I suggest printing in PETG for the flexibility and strength. You can try something else of course but I'm not sure how it will go or how long it would last. ymmv. 2 - The clips won't hold the speaker vertically. Horizontal is fine like you can see with the overhead clip but you will need a base or simple pin to take the weight in the vertical orientation. Like the HangingStand. 3 - The clips by themselves may seem a bit flimsy. Once you glue them to something they stiffen up and the speaker shhhthunks right into place I promise. The hanging stand clips perfectly onto the headboard for an ikea Malm bedframe. The overhead clip hangs from a 48mm x 20mm rafter board. Sketchup files provided for easy remixing. Please feel free to post a pic your clips in action as I do enjoy seeing other people using my stuff.
