Udoo x86 mount for 80mm fan
thingiverse
After more than a year of utilizing the Udoo x86 Ultra as a compact media solution for the living room, the small fan that came with it became an increasing nuisance. To eliminate the noise but still provide sufficient cooling, I simply designed a mount for an 80mm fan I had on hand. Although it is oversized, I have the space to accommodate it. I obtained the necessary pinout and connector information from the Udoo manual and this thread. Just to save you some time: I purchased a cable with a MOLEX 51021-0300 connector from Ebay and connected each of the wires to those of the fan by soldering them together. In case someone else is experiencing the same issue with the Udoo x86, I am sharing the design here. The print should fit the Udoo x86 heatsink and a standard 80mm fan perfectly. It can be easily mounted using some M3 (lower / Udoo part) and M4 screws (upper / fan part).
