Udoo 7" Screen Case + Kickstand

Udoo 7" Screen Case + Kickstand

thingiverse

This is my latest design for a 3D-printed case to encase the Udoo 7" touchscreen module. V2.1 has been finalized on the front, while V2.2 awaits final approval on the back panel and kickstand component. Initial prototypes are printing flawlessly and showing significant improvement. However, some finishing work may be required. Upon receiving your new case, carefully review it to identify potential adjustments. The module's datasheet in TinkerCAD likely requires several fine-tunes before a print is successful. As you work on the print, please bear in mind that there could be necessary tweaking as it progresses. For those without experience working with complex prints like this one, a gentle sanding process may aid the printing process, smoothing out surface textures and helping with final alignment. If desired to assemble all components within your new case seamlessly, you should start by gently opening the pre-drilled holes found at the back using an adequately-sized drill bit. This will ensure that your module is completely snug. Following this procedure for both top pegs into the hole located at the bottom could demand some adjustment, but overall you may need a gentle file on those points too, ensuring no issues. The case comes preassembled with necessary 3D printing elements set to layer and resolution values suitable for creating the print accurately in multiple passes per single.
