UBSean's Quadrotor Frame
thingiverse
This quadrotor frame, measuring 24 inches across when constructed, has an estimated pre-electronics weight of approximately 0.75 pounds. It features GoPro camera mounting capability. An alternative design is available, featuring a mounted base and four legs instead of a screwed cover. Pictures of the printed and assembled prototype will be posted soon. To assemble, print all components except for four arm1 and four arm2 pieces; then glue arm1 to arm2. Insert the glued arms into the component box and secure them in place with more glue. Attach the cover to the bottom of the box using #8 screws, followed by fastening the component carrier to the box with additional #8 screws. The alternate design replaces the bottom cover with a mount and legs; glue the mount in the center square, attach legs to arm roots, and secure everything to the box for added strength.
