Uboot - The Board Game ==================== (www.uboottheboardgame.com) ------------------------------------------ I designed some chip holders with press-fit lids for this board game, tailored to fit each position perfectly. Each holder has rows for activation chips, and the number of activation chips that fit depends on the character's special chips. This system ensures all activation chips are evenly distributed. - Captain: 1 x 3x25mm holder for activation chips (9-10 each) - First Officer: 1 x 5x15mm holder with a height of 15mm for medicine chips, sorted by kind 1 x 5x20mm holder for death chips and red cross/fatigue chips, plus two compartments for activation chips (8 each) - Chief Engineer: 1 x 5x20mm holder for environmental conditions 1 x 5x25mm holder with three compartments of red-yellow-green mechanic repairs and two compartments for activation chips (11 each) - Navigator: 1 x 5x25mm holder with one compartment for watchout chips, two compartments for food chips, and two compartments for activation chips (12 each) The leftover chips include: - Cigarettes: Each player receives 2, making a holder unnecessary. - Hull breach: A single chip, no need for a holder either. - Equipment/Supply chips: These will be placed on section cards, eliminating the need for a holder. - Tactical map markers: Does a holder even make sense here? The entire set fits my Anycubic i3 Mega build plate (no skirt/brim) and takes 13.5 hours to print at standard settings: 0.2mm layer height with 60mm/s speed, two wall lines, and 20% infill. It uses 153g of filament. I might design card holders as well, but I'm unsure if there's a real need for them. The puzzle is simply placed on a pile, making a holder unnecessary. For the leftover parts, including cards, there are enough plastic bags to store them comfortably.
