This is a brand new UniFi AC AP Lite/LR ceiling or wall mount extension designed specifically for standard US plastic ceiling mount electrical boxes that use 3-1/2" screw spacing. To attach it to your AC AP, simply use the small drywall screws provided with the device, and secure them to the bayoneting cover after you've screwed the whole assembly into place inside a ceiling mount box. The extension itself stands 20mm off of any standard ceiling.
